 | from what i understand they are in the programming stages of getting the equipment online for GA.. once that is complete we should see these issues resolved.. |

I have had Guild Wars 2 for 3 weeks now, I have been able to "play" for an hour in those 3 weeks because of this connection. |

WindstreamPremium,VIP join:2009-03-31 Twinsburg, OH kudos:33 | reply to Bashlin Bashlin, I have been making as much noise about your circuit as possible. I just got an update on the equipment in your area about an hour ago. The new equipment was in TST_RVW status this past week and has been moved on to the NOC_VLAN group. They will write create the provisioning and the MOP that will plan and allow us to move you and other customers to the new equipment. Ideally it will only be with that group for a week to 10days (providing nothing goes haywire). Shortly after that we will begin the Test and Turn up (TST_TRNUP) and you (and a good chunk of other GA customers) should be moved to the new equipment and be good to go. Just wanted to keep you all in the loop. As I get more updates I will pass it on to you.
To everyone else in this thread: Commerce, Jefferson are at about the same place in the process give or take a week. Have a good weekend.

 | I'm in the Dawsonsville, GA area, and over the last month or so we have had continuous disconnects. I have monitored the lines and seen the drops/reconnects. Are we being impacted by this same issue? |

| reply to Bashlin I too have been experiencing a lot of disconnects lately. I just find it hard to believe that there's a network issue that's affecting most of Georgia. That said, my connection is total crap tonight.

| reply to Bashlin That's ok. Apparently it's spread to Nebraska too. Windstream's marketing has just oversold their product, and apparently they aren't putting enough money into engineering/operations to beef up their infrastructure to meet those promises. |

 | reply to Bashlin I've had a couple of disconnects in the last week. The first time Tech support had me go into the 1704's menu and reset the modem to default specs, the second time(last night @ 9pm) tech support said they were having equipment issues. That lasted about 30 mins then everything went back to normal. |

| reply to Bashlin Commerce is awful this morning.

Everyone in the Commerce area needs to contact city hall and let them know we don't want Windstream's Cable contracts renewed so we might get some competition in here. |

Aaron Specialist II Is Cornelia in that "Good Chunk of other GA customers"? The frequent drops, random reconnects, and user name and password errors are really getting to be a bit much to deal with. |

So it has been a week since this post, what is the current timeline status? I have a houseful of folks who waited for the recent World of Warcraft release on Tuesday who are getting very upset with all of the disconnects. |
