Switch leading to terrible internet service
Unknowingly my cable modem was changed to a Arris TM502G, which combines my phone. My internet speed has been throttled from where it previously was and the connection is often dropped. This is stuff straight from 1997 56k. I tried to switch back to the old modem but it didn't work anymore. Advice? I'm pretty peeved at WOW!
If you really want to switch back to your old modem you would need to call WOW and have them re-provision it. If it were me though, I would just call them regarding the new modem. If your service was working great before then my guess is the new modem hasn't been provisioned correctly.

There is a known issue with this modem. I thought it was related to trying to use it as a modem without a phone, but you seem to have both. In any case, WOW_Dan can probably take a look at it and figure something out. One question though, are you using a router, and if so, have you bypassed it to rule it out as the problem?
