There was a thunderstorm two days ago that caused our power to go off-on, off-on. Afterwards, I checked to see if our internet speed was slow, which it was. I expect that during a storm, so it wasn't a big deal. Normally the speeds return to normal within a few hours, but they didn't.
Two days have past and I'm still getting unbearable speeds. Here's a speedtest.net result from a test I just ran. »
www.speedtest.net/result ··· 7064.pngHere's some information.
Modem: Westell 6200
Router: Linksys WRT54G2
Connected via Ethernet
Dell Vostro 420 with Windows 7, though the speed is just as slow on wireless devices.
I kept both the modem and router unplugged completely for three hours, didn't resolve the issue.
Possibly unrelated, but we don't have a dial tone for our phones either, which service is also provided by AT&T.
I just want this fixed.
Thanks in advance.
