 | GW2 Performance Issue Hey GUys,
I am having some gnarly FPS issues in WvWvW and was wonderring if this is something wrong on my end of if my year old hardware is that dated.
CPU: i7 - 2630QM @ 2.00 GHz Memory: 8.00 GB GPU: nvidea Geforce gtx 560M 2gb on board. -- Leaning out a window with a cocked shotgun. Driving up the block in the car they shot Pac in. Looking for Big's killers. Dressing ridiculous. Blue and red like I don't know what the big deal is. |

|
 | So laptop underneath cooling and see if it helps? |

| reply to f0rtys3ven Use the setting they recommend. Settings Preset: Auto detect.
Also try using 306.03 beta drivers. »www.geforce.com/whats-new/articl···eleased/

 | reply to FizzyMyNizzy I have tried a few different versions, 306.02, 304.79, etc. And I am still having fps problems in GW2, I have become convinced that it is poor optimization that in causing this. My 670gtx will be humming along at 60 fps then all the sudden it will drop to 12-8 fps and stay that way until i log out and log back in. This happens in plain PvE when I am just questing alone, Areanet and Nvidia need to get on the ball and fix this shit. The 306.02 drivers are shit they even screwed up other games that previously had no problems. I am back to the 304.79 drivers at least they dont mess with my other games. I was reading some where that GW2 is having problems with the new CPUs and GPUs that clock them selves down when not in use, the game somtimes doesnt prompt the boost to kick in and instead uses the downclocked speed instead. This is really annoying, hope it will be fixed sometimes in the near future. Specs: Asus P77Z MB 8Gb Corsair memory IvyBridge i5 3570 Evga 670 GTX SC |

I went back to the 304.48 drivers. The game runs beautiful for me on those. |

 | I'm on 304.48 and loving all my PvE experience for right now. W3 is going to have to stay on the back burner for awhile.
Running most PvE content at 30 fps with medium options and every thing still looks great! -- Leaning out a window with a cocked shotgun. Driving up the block in the car they shot Pac in. Looking for Big's killers. Dressing ridiculous. Blue and red like I don't know what the big deal is. |

 | reply to Ghastlyone So my issues have been getting better. I reset my bios because at some point I think they got a little twirked. I am now running with pretty high settings with 50 fps. I have no tried WvWvW yet again though. -- Leaning out a window with a cocked shotgun. Driving up the block in the car they shot Pac in. Looking for Big's killers. Dressing ridiculous.
