Oleg Bellsouth Fastaccess Premium join:2003-12-08 Birmingham, AL kudos:2	[Rant] Papa John's order I have ordered a pizza from Papa John's for delivery, and within 20 minus pizza has arrived. After i have opened the box one of the ingredients were missing, and the pizza was under cooked. On top of that the manager smokes pot as i were informed by my friend who works there.

PrntRhd Premium join:2004-11-03 Fairfield, CA	reply to Oleg Papa Johns is a franchise operation, meaning many locations are owned by someone other than Papa John itself. It is up to the franchise owner to screen/not screen employees if PJ does not require drug testing in their franchise agreement.

Minimum wage jobs in the food business typically don't require testing. I knew an adult person, 50+ years old who lost many well paying jobs for pot/alcohol use but worked at a Papa Murphy's location for an extended time without issues. If you can show up sober enough to function you can work there. Managers working for the franchise may or may not be tested, depending on the franchise owner's policies and procedures.
