Re: If I am provisioned ADSL2, can I still use ADSL1 modem?

You can use any adsl modem at any time,

except:

You cannot use an adsl/adsl2+ modem when your line is setup for VDSL.

You cannot use the cellpipe modem as an adsl2+ modem.

When I use my SS5360 on my 16mbit adsl2+ line, it was syncing up at ~7mbps. So yeah, its very doable.
