| Anyone else with slow speeds to U.K.? Normally my best speeds as measured by speedtest.net (~5 Mbps down/0.6 Mbps up, DSL service) are achieved for most US/Canadian servers, with major networks in Europe not far behind. The U.K. has always been a bit more varied, sometimes down to roughly half those figures.
But in the last 2 days, most servers in Canada or the USA, with the exception of major destinations like S.F. or N.Y., have been roughly half of the usual, and the U.K. barely up to 1.25 down/0.3 up.
Anyone else using speedtest.net find the same thing? (Remember, you can choose other servers on the Flash version of speedtest by moving the cross-hairs on the map).
Have Teksavvy's transit arrangements changed recently? |

| I didn't add the information that the reason why I used Speedtest was difficulty in achieving adequate streaming data rates over the last two days from UK sites--and thought the speedtest rates might be at least a point of comparison. In the UK case, the low speedtest results were consistent with the low streaming rates. |

| I think this thread might be relevant (took me a while to find it again). Would be nice to hear from TSI about how the Europian bottleneck investigation is going.

Thank you for the link to earlier discussion!
I just tried speedtest.vodafone-ip.de directly, not through the speedtest.net site. Completely pathetic, not like the usual throughput from Europe at all. What's going on? |
