[Internet] Sagemcom 2864 to Netgear 3700 = Slow upload

Hey everyone,

I just upgrade to Fibe 25/10 and received the Sagemcom 2864. I currently own a Netgear 3700 which id like to use as my router. Reading a few instructions on the forum, I plugged the Sagemcom to the Netgear's WAN and entered the PPPoE login details on the netgear. However, while using the netgear, I can only receive up to 1mbps of upload (via speedtest.net). If I connect directly to the sagemcom I get 6mbps of upload. Anyone else having a similar issue? Any way to resolve this? Thanks!

Look under QoS Setup in the 3700 configuration and either deselect Bandwidth Control or increase the default value.

I've seen several people mention that they enter PPPoE details on their router in this configuration, but I feel like I am missing something: Can't the router simply take a WAN IP from the Sagemcom via DHCP, or specify a fixed WAN IP on the 192.168.2.x subnet? Does this not work? Does it have to use a PPPoE session?
