I like to know how you are being "forced" to switch to Share Everything. Oh by the way it's called WI-FI. try it. WiFi is typically too slow. Although At home for me it's not. I can connect at either 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz with my ReZound and it is faster than the LTE connection. But a typical WiFi Hot spot is too slow. The 4G LTE connection is typically many, many times faster. So I never use WiFI hotspots unless I can't get a good signal from the Verizon network. Fortunately it is extremely rare for me not to have a good signal from Verizon. I get a 4G connection 90% to 95% of the time here in the DC area. |

Most of my data is used when I'm in the car and at work. From listening to my music from the Amazon cloud player. There is nowhere near enough storage on the phone to carry all my music with me but with the Amazon cloud music player it's now all at my fingertips. |

You are right.... it would slow. People would bitch and Verizon will be forced with 3 choices. 1.) Do nothing and people would move to another carrier relieving the network making it better for those that stay 2.) Verizon will upgrade the network to make it better for all. 3.) Raise prices to make their network less appealing (see #1).
Problem solved, they choose #3. |

That is just the amount of songs that Amazon allows you to store without affecting the online storage amount you are paying for. I want to have all my music accessible because I never know what I will be in the mood to listen to. All types of music appeal to me so I listen to a wide variety of music and I never know what I will be in the mood to listen to. By having all my music available from the Amazon Cloud storage I don't have the issue of wanting to listen to something in my collection and not having it with me. Which happened all the time with my portable music players that only had local storage.
My only issue was that the bulk of my music collection was in the WMA format so I had to convert everything to a format that wouldn't count against my storage cap. So I chose to convert everything to the MP3 format. |
