Re: Post your Sprint 3g speeds

said by will23:

I was told by millenicom to switch my adapter to home network instead of public. So I did so and it seems that my speeds went back up. They were extremely slow for no reason then I switched it to home and they went back to normal but still aren't perfectly stable enough for speed tests:

I'm not sure what you mean by - switched my adapter to home network instead of public -- what adapter?

If you have windows 7 then it is in the network and sharing page. If you see a bench then it is public. If you see a house it is home.

Seems like my connection is working good enough to actually report the actual speed I have almost: Download Speed: 1246 kbps (155.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 441 kbps (55.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 196 ms
Thu Sep 13 2012 12:40:18 GMT-0500 (Central Daylight Time)

But the speed doesn't stay that fast. That was just a quick jolt it usually settles around 180 and fluctuates from 155-180KBps for some odd reason. I had virgin mobile and it was staying stable around 180 and didn't ever fluctuate too much.
