Frankly, I'm not sure how they can afford to commit $16billion to Apple alone, while also dedicating another few $billion for network modernization.
Apparently WallStreet likes what Sprint is doing. Stock is up and analysts are saying Sprint is worth more. They do have a good plan, they just need to prove they can deliver.
If you are looking at the last 6 months it's done fairly well, but long term Sprint stock has been roughly the same for 4 years, after it crashed from a decent ride in the 20's down to the mid to low single digits.
Just saying the market likes what Sprint is now doing. Of all of Sprint's options at this point, they are making good moves and so far is making the NV plan happen.The plan is to have LTE to cover 130m pops by end of year and entire network by end of next year. So far they are on track.
