Which numbers, the average speed? VZW also markets lower numbers. I think VZW markets LTE at 6-10Mbps.
I can get 20Mbps+ on Sprint at times, but a smartphone doesn't really need more than a few Mbps. Latency matters more to smartphone apps once you get past a few Mbps...
