After picking the Jets last week and coming away still having huge doubts about Sanchez as well as the Sanchez/Tebow bit I would like to pick against them this week and go with the Steelers.
The more I watch Ben Roethlisberger the more I feel he is one of the great quarterbacks and could very well teach both Sanchez and Tebow how the quarterback position should be played.
But what stops me from picking the Steelers is the fact that Peyton Manning, after not playing for so long, was able to move down the field against the great Steeler defense....from watching the game I came away thinking the Steeler defense truly sucked that day more so than Peyton Manning just being his old great self..I did predict Manning/Denver would be a disaster this year and could be wrong but still not convinced it was as much Peyton as it was the Steeler defense just stunk the place up ...so am laying off that match up.
My pick for week 2 is the 49'ers over the Lions. |
