Yes, and that is why a la carte cable does not exist to consumers, and probably never will exist. If my cable bill was less and ESPN and Disney both cost $10/month I'd be happy to opt out of both. If reception was better where I lived and I had a better choice for internet than Comcast I'd probably consider opting out of overpriced cable TV altogether. |

Yes, and that is why a la carte cable does not exist to consumers, and probably never will exist. When al-la-carte channels run $1-3 (as they already do on big-dish satellite), how exactly do you save money with a-la-carte? By going from 250 channels to 20?

I would love to opt out of the TV service entirely to reduce my bill and.... Oh wait... Paying for TV seems too much like paying for sex (except when you pay for sex you don't get commercials anyway).
But I don't actually know because I've never paid for either. |

Much cheaper than cable tv =)
