That would certainly be cheaper than switching to a shared data plan for two years. Depending on the data usage it's probably cheaper after less than a year.
Well if it's like the Galaxy S III then it would be $600 full price or a $400 difference. Also technically it's 20 months not 2 years since you can upgrade every 20 months. So $20 a month.
I guess if you don't bother to use Wi-Fi I suppose one would use a lot of data. Of course maybe that's the reason why they got rid of unlimited also. Hmmmmm.
