art22gg Premium join:2005-02-16 Courtenay, BC kudos:5 Reviews: ·Shaw 1 edit	[XPHome] Can,t Install MS Kb 2728973--Help.(SOLVED) Yesterday I ran Belarc Advisor and it told me I was missing the above named update...I DL it from MS site and tried to open it,and nothing...I then tried "Run AS" which I have never had to use and I get an error message..[Do not have Admin priviledges..cannot be run unless Admin]...I AM the Admin! I then ran Windows update and this Kb did Not come up as missing or needed.. Checking further,I saw that as a prereq to install this update either Kb2616676,2641690,or 2718704 had to be installed..I have all 3 installed! The DL itself gives you rvkroots.exe which is a win32 self extractor,but as mentioned,it will not open for me... I have Googled this for any pertinent info but nothing of any help came up... Anyone have any suggestions how I can rectify this?
