Re: 2x2 Mimo WiMAX Dual Carrier on Single Panel? Well they have triband antennas and dualband antennas that do it, so the question is really will a dualband 3.5GHz + 3.5GHZ quad pol antenna work for 2 carriers. |

 | I think it will come down to the isolation between the ports on the antenna. As Inssomniak mentioned, if they are TX sync'd then it would not be as big of a deal. If they are not, then the two radios will see each other with a signal strength roughly of TX power - isolation if on the same channel. In the case of multi-frequency antennas, this is more likely to work because you can filter out the unwanted bands and the isolation is generally higher. Since they are the same band in this case, filtering is not really an option. -- Harold Bledsoe |

 | well we are using narrowband filters of 10Mhz for each of our RFHeads, the issue we have is we don't have room for 2 sectors per direction so i'm trying to find a way to use a custom dualband andtenna on 3.5/3.5 or perhaps just a 3.5ghz 4x4 mimo antenna so 1 carrier on X and one on + with say channel 3515 and 3415 or something like that. |
