| Shaw won't have to support it. Per the article you linked it supports TiVo DVRs.
So if you have a TiVo, then you'll be able to use this feature. If you don't, you won't. Suggest you go purchase a TiVo if this is your thing. |

kudos:1 | Of course, the problem being that Shaw does not support CableCARD so you only get analog channels on TiVo. And Shaw just got rid of all analog channels except basic cable.
Actually - Shaw DOES support CableCARD. But only with their boxes (the new Motorola HD box, HD-PVR, and Gateway boxes all use CableCARDs). |
