Re: [TWC] NFL Week 2 Adelphia Communications was officially pronounced dead on July 31, 2006. Time Warner dropped NFL Network on August 1st, on all Adelphia and Comcast systems they acquired. On August 3rd, the FCC ordered that Time Warner reinstate NFL Network on those systems for the next 30 days as they violated the FCC 30 Days notice rule. After a month had passed the channel was removed for good in early September.
