You're holding it wrong.

You need to hold an android for that feature.

Seems the market thinks otherwise. iPhone 5 is sold out.

Apple wins again.

Nobody here thinks Apple's marketing is nothing short of genius. It's their products and some basic functionality where they're lacking. Simultaneous voice/data should be a standard offering.

I predict T is going to have a field day with this in their ads against Sprint/VW.

Iphone 5 could have never not sold out.

The same way the superbowl always sells out. Happens once a year.
If they had a superbowl every 3 weeks it would be a different story.

Not sure what you mean by win. It's been a couple years now since Apple has held the best smartphone title. For their fans there is no competition so they cannot win against that. The bulk of regular consumers prefer android to the iphone(around 2 to 1 in the USA, and 3 to 1 world wide). I suppose if by winning you mean getting your fans to give you the most money, then yes. They win, and they will always win until their fans leave.

Never got why some people seem to judge how good a phone is by whether it has a "sold out" sign hanging on it.

It makes marketing sense to release 10% of your product to create a sell out frenzy... free media coverage! Then you open the floodgates after the free media coverage fizzles out.
