are you on 1st fl or bsmnt? I can see why bsmnt may not be avaliable I used to live close to myrtle ave and 62 st I lived in basement for a while and time warner wouldnt even install it there so we had to play around and talk with guy upstairs and move cables from floor 1 to basement etc...

this is on 79.99$ deal I have. That is still better then time warners rental box 10.25$

yes, i have same thing on my bill..seems cheaper then the 10 bucks or so that TWC and others charges for the box

In NY area I got one when I went to GPON for the 150/65 package from BPON & 35/35 package.

As for Patt2K, the performance of it is flawless, no issues with it since it was installed back in July.

that might be a problem with building management not allowing fios/verizon to install the fios stuff. I think the CO is still on the corner of gates ave and fairview ave which means you should be pretty close and should of gotten it by now. Check with your landlord to see if they were contacted by verizon. Did you also try calling up verizon and asking if fios is available, their site may not be update to date

Oddly for me, whenever i checked the website it always used to say fios not available for my address. Yet, when i called them on how to lower my phone/dsl bundle price i was given an upgrade to fios triple play which make me eligible for fios. It wasn't until a few days after i ordered fios that the website finally updated to show that fios is in my area/building

So essentially I'm running at almost 50 Mpbs at less cost than it did to run 12 Mpbs at TW. With recent raising of both the base service and equipment the price parity is getting a lot closer but the service is so much different.
