I would think it would or should have installed to there by default in the first place. ... Thanks! Perhaps it did originally but I don't see it there now. Unless it's in a folder called AGI, which contains one folder called core. Doesn't seem to be anything relevant in it. Digging deep inside, I found a .txt file with a title but no content.
I don't want it installed on the desktop but don't want to deal with it right now, either. Would delete the desktop one if that hadn't caused such dramatic changes yesterday. I have another CoreTemp.exe in a folder for FAH which also has a CoreTemp.ini. Perhaps if I open that one it'll take over and then I can delete the desktop one? |

How did you manage that trick? It should be in it's own folder in program files directory. Contents should look like this: |

Thank you! So...like the above only in program files. As long as it's working, it can wait a day or two, right? I'm not sure how I managed it, either.
Edit: Except I don't have the last two files shown in your list and do have CoreTemp64.zip. I created that FAH folder, if I remember right. |

| Ok then, you must have unzipped it to the FAH folder then. If it works no big deal then. I always download the regular installer pkg. the setup exe. That will put it to program files. No biggie tho. |

It showed the usual temperature range before but does not, now. All cores continue to show high (over 100° F) temps even though I've shut down F@H.
Any suggestions on what I should do? I tried rebooting but it didn't fix the temps.
I also enabled Overheat Protection, which was not enabled by default.
Rebooted one more time and the temperatures shot right up again when F@H started. I don't believe they're true temperatures but am not going to risk running it as long as they're displaying that. Even without F@H, looks 20+ degrees over norm. |

onDvineDon't Litter. Spay-Neuter.Premium join:2005-01-29 So. CA, USA kudos:9 | They were staying around or under 68-80 F and I think it may be a problem with CoreTemp rather than actual temps. Am just not sure. Restarting CoreTemp keeps bringing same temps. Would it help to reinstall it from the zip folder or would that be redundant? |
|
jaynicklit upPremium join:2001-02-06 Sterling Heights, MI kudos:2 | No you won't see 68-80F, Celsius maybe. 154F out of 221 max is reasonable. |

So...you think the numbers in the graphic above look right for Fahrenheit? |
