[Wireless] Linksys E2000 and ST516, no connection

I can get internet access directly from the ST516 Modem, but when I plug the modem into the Router and then my ethernet into any of the ports, I get nothing. I've run the Cisco Home repair function and it always reports DNS server timed out, or something of that nature.

I have turned off all devices (router, modem, PC) and started them up in the order of Modem, Router, PC but still nothing. This should be PnP right? Any ideas what I should do?

I'm running Windows 7 btw.

You probably have an IP conflict. Read this thread: »no connection

Followed your instructions to the T but still no connection.

Connect to the modem only and do an IPCONFIG and then connect to the Linksys only (w/o connecting to the modem) and do an IPCONFIG. Make sure you either reboot your PC or repair the LAN connection in Control Panel. Post the results. Just as the case in the other thread, your modem is also a router.
