anon posted : iO is not the TV service anymore, it has been rebranded to Optimum TV. So they would not update that logo. I am guessing they are waiting for the new IMG to come out in October to change it over to Optimum TV.

Those ads will probably run for a limited time. For years after the ads, people will just think it's a bad logo. They need a slogan to go with the logo and they need to show it in every ad, but changing the logo is even better.

I thought "iO" was bad too. I don't know what it means, I'm not sure how to say it, and I'd have to do some research to refresh my memory on how to use something like that at the beginning of a sentence. I think you're supposed to avoid putting it at the beginning of a sentence. Optimum TV is an improvement.

Five minutes and a trip to fonts.com probably did the trick. The problem is that they have to replace everything that has their old logo on it.
