 | Driving From San Francisco to Monterey Bay Hey guys,
I'm driving from San Francisco to Monterey next weekend with my girlfriend. We plan on driving there on highway 1.
This is the first time I'm going there and the first time driving on highway 1.
I plan on stopping at a few areas before ending up at Monterey Bay Aquarium.
Couple of questions: 1. What are some must stop areas along the way? I'm open to anything really!
2. Where should I visit in Monterey besides the aquarium?
3. Any good recommendations for hotels in Monterey? |

| reply to AuraReturn The Whole Enchilada in Moss Landing, for their overall food. The Giant Artichoke in Castroville, for their deep fried artichoke hearts. They're so good with ranch! And for a Hotel that I would highly recommend, if you're aiming to impress and should experience at least once, Monterey Plaza Hotel. -- Games - GameTech - S.F.Bay - 新 |

Your girlfriend will get to enjoy the magnificent scenery. You, on the other hand, best keep your eyes on the road. Trust me on this one. |

 | reply to AuraReturn Yea, weather might be an issue. Hopefully it'll all pan out. Thank you all for your suggestions. I'm still open to them. |

Has anyone tried Peachwood's Steakhouse in Santa Cruz? |

EDIT: Yes, I also recommend the Santa Cruz boardwalk. If you have time, get on the roller coaster. It's a blast. -- Illegal aliens have always been a problem in the United States. Ask any Indian. Robert Orben
