Found out the cause of my ping problems

I was having terrible pings in the 600-800 ranger on my PC. The cause was my previous antivirus program trend micro titanium. I installed norton 360 2013 after removing trend micro and my pings are now in the 30-40 range.

Good to know, I never thought an AV could cause high latency.

BTW I use ESET NOD and never had any problems, low demand on computer resources.

Discovered that about 3-4 years ago when Dell was using that as the default installed vs McAfee like they whent back to. Amazing how all my headaches whent away the moment i uninstalled the Trend Micro stuff. I guess since they arnt McAfee or Norton they cant afford to pay for better coders to not be resourse hogs.
