<description><![CDATA[EdT posted : I have several 4200 060-D242-A65 with the A3S firmware from Bell and I want update them to Siemens generic A8M firmware so they have better market value and features when I sell them.<br><br>I updated one modem with the update_D240_A8M_106-65_1210_v1r.exe firmware and noticed the performance was actually worse then with the original Bell firmware<br><br>Upstream Train Rate before: 800000 / after: 704000<br>SNRC before: 11 /  after: 6<br>CRC Errors seems to be going up faster as well<br><br>Is there a reason why the generic firmware performs worse and  is the Update_D240_A8M_106-65_1210_v1r.exe version the latest generic version from Siemens ?]]></description>
