Well water aerationI am looking for an aeration system for my existing well. I want to add it to the existing filtration system. I seems that the well water has a high level of CO2 and would like to reduce that by just aerating the water rather than using caustic soda. |

Google aeration system for well water
It lists link after link of products that fit what you need |

all of those are for sulfur related systems...
Ok. I think I need to get the Radon aeration system. |

Then try equipment to remove CO2 from well water. » www.gewater.com/handbook ··· tion.jsperation as a water treatment practice is used for the following operations: carbon dioxide reduction (decarbonation) oxidation of iron and manganese found in many well waters (oxidation tower) ammonia and hydrogen sulfide reduction (stripping) » www.freshwatersystems.co ··· ter.aspxCO2- Carbon Dioxide Water Treatment - Free CO2 in water, can be easily dissipated by aeration |

lol...Google? What's that?
Most on the google list are for large scale and none I found have any other information on them other than what's on its website. |

I've not looked at the links posted here (actually I noted "CO2 easily dispersed by aeration"), but have built a simple aeration system myself, which was quite straightforward to do:
1. Installed 1000gal polyurethane holding tank (week of water for us) 2. Well pump now sprays water into tank from the top 3. Level switch therein controls deep well pump 4. A 3/4HP pump draws water from this tank 5. The 40-60psi pressure switch now controls this pump 6. The output of the 3/4HP pump feeds the domestic water
I just chlorinate and filter the tank water (no UV for instance) cuz we don't drink it. This setup has the added benefit of extending well pump life (and ours is at 700 feet down). |
