I ported my old number from cablevision/optonline to Magicjack. I discovered anyone tries to call from Cablevision, they get a message that my number is not a good number. This only seems to be an issue with Cablevision/Optonline customers. MJ says they dont restrict numbers and Cablevision says "I don't know what you're taking about". ANY IDEAS??
Cablevision has not completed the port out correctly, they need to now route your calls to Ymax as opposed to them, just get in touch with their porting department or a higher level of tech support and ask them to check the routing tables for your number and verify the port out work has been completed correctly.
