Re: [TWC] No more perboost? Mele's poor speed issues is a combination of using a DOCSIS 2.0 cable modem and her node having intermittent issues. Her upstream power level is around 50dBmV and the cable modem frequently disconnects.
I had Road Runner Turbo (15/1Mbps) for over a year with no speed issues. Then I upgraded to the 20/2Mbps tier.
I split my cable to the DOCSIS 2.0 Cable Modem/eMTA and the DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem (Oceanic doesn't have DOCSIS 3.0 eMTA/Cable modems). The speeds became much more consistent after I upgraded to DOCSIS 3.0. |
