I have been working on several customer in Texas (near Huntington) that are having similar issues. However many of those issues are very near to being resolved. thutchings6 join:2006-12-01 Whitney, TX Reviews: ·Windstream	I do not know if you remember me but I live in Whitney..I'm over by Murdoch Meadows on HWY 22 near Dam..The problems from before are back even worse..My 6mb service was .03mb last night and for the past week!!Called customer service but no help..Not going to deal with this for a year and a half like last time..There is a new service in Whitney..The tower is located right behind phone office in town..You should have got a flyer in the mail last week..Skybeam wireless..They offer 5mb service right now with plans to upgrade..It costs more than what I'm paying now, w\tax about $64 a month..It is line of site and you have to put what looks like a small dish on your house to receive the signal..I will be switching this week if no response or fix from Windstream..They told me I could try it for 30 days with MONEY BACK if not satisfied..Good luck...Tim...

Oh i didn't know we had another choice in town , Always new about satellite but the latency on that is just crazy , No way i could play online games on sat and i think wireless is the same way , The latency would be way too high

thutchings6 join:2006-12-01 Whitney, TX Reviews: ·Windstream	They advertise latency same as dsl.But i read forum on this site about there service and the reviews are terrible.did not see any reviews from this area but all said customer service was terrible..Level2 tech told me that they new about the problem in our area and that DATA-NOC would be here on 10/4 to find a fix.My 6mb dsl after 8pm drops to speeds less than dial up.
