[HELP] does enabling wccp affect traffic?

Just wondering, the idea is to basically run

enable
config t
ip wccp version 2
ip wccp 80 redirect-list 180
ip wccp 90 redirect-list 190

access-list 180 permit ip 200.102.16.0 0.0.0.255 any
access-list 190 permit ip any 200.102.16.0 0.0.0.255

Interface GigabitEthernet1/0/1 (LAN Interface)
ip wccp 80 redirect in
ip wccp 90 redirect in
exit

Interface GigabitEthernet1/0/2 (WAN Interface)
ip wccp 90 redirect in
exit

and then test the system from our 200.102.16.0 subnet test lab before adding our full network's subnets...

my question to you wise Cisco Guru's Is will any of the above cause a service interuption? OK the 200.102.16.0 network will obviously switch to wccp, how gracefully that will be i wish i knew, but what about traffic from clients not on the 200.102.16.0 subnet, will they continue unaffected or will they notice a hiccup when i run the command.

No disruption; WCCP fails open unless configured otherwise. However, the setup as presented will do nothing at all as you've not told it where to send the WCCP captured traffic. Also, why are you capturing port 90 in from the internet?

any chance you could tell me how to fix the above code ...

also something odd on my 3750 when i tried this the commands "ip wccp version 2" and the "ip wccp xx redirect in" under interface say they are unrecognized commands....

ip wccp 80 redirect-list works fine.... and show wccp works... so what the heck

What application are you trying to redirect WCCP for..? WAAS? Ironports? an IDS?

What version of IOS are the 3750s running?

Can't swear to it, but IIRC Cisco design docs said to stay away from 3750s (at least the older models) when
using them as WCCP redirection devices. I've usually see 6500s in that function ususally.
