I'd kill to get that "poor" of results on 16\1 plans. Here's my last night results on my 6\800 supposedly plan.

Yes I have posted in Direct forums. I have had Bell Tech over during the daytime, of course, so all was fine.

And this mornings Speedtest:

Are you back to normal again this morning? There has to be something we can look into for you to have these night slow downs go away.

Yes it's back to normal. I'll continue to monitor. Had the same issue here in Ottawa a couple of years ago and it was due to congestion. It took Bell many months to do the upgrades.

If you wouldn't mind posting in the »TekSavvy Direct forum, we could take a look.

The same thing happens tonight yet again, average download speed set at ~500kbps and currently paying for an 15Mb service.

Much better tonight. I rebooted the modem and I assume I'm on a different erx or whatever.

Same problem, every night. I'm in Saint-Laurent (Montreal) on a 25Mbit account. Every night the connection drops to 4mbps or less.

What should I do to get this resolved? Call technical support? Post on the direct support forums?

Thanks,
Gili

Once again, still experiencing slow speed. Currently at 230/kbps. I highly suspect that Bell is throttling our lines and give more priorities to the Bell customers. I would like to know if TekSavvy has any idea what is going on? It has been nearly 2 months that we've been having low speed on the weekends and on the evening during the weekdays.

This is interesting. I opened a support request in the Direct forum over this behavior. Have any of you noted packet loss when pinging your gateway?

When pinging the gateway on TSI I'd get consistent packet loss. As the evening wore on, by midnight, it was hard to get more than 0.1% packet loss occasionally, and only if doing pings at 0.2s intervals for 512byte pings, or higher. During "prime time" though, I was getting noticeable packet loss. However, logging in with test@test or a bell login yielded no such results unless I pinged with frequency and size that likely caused pkt loss due to flooding the bandwidth.

I, too, have noticed this behavior (again) (recently).

stillslow

@teksavvy.com

Yeah.

I have the same thing. I know its not my:

Modem.
Router.
Internal Wiring.

Because I get full dload and uload during the day with 20ms pings.

From 1900hrs to around 2300, I get 1000ms pings and a connection that is almost unusable. Certainly no way to stream or MMORPG. Identical when using 10.1.1.x test.

What else is there to try?

Well if you could try to post in the »TekSavvy Direct forum & we can gather that information about the Test@test results & probe Bell about it.

Thank you,
Martin
