Thank you, Nick. All set here.
Yep, it appears I'm in a minor Adobe update heaven today.

Oh, and I like to mention now and then to go to a Shockwave "test page", such as this one:

Right click, select properties, and adjust accordingly.
Thanks again.

Thanks muchly for that. Didn't know about it. All has been disabled.

FYI you have to do the above on a per user basis!

In case anyone was wondering what the difference is between the SLIM and FULL installers...

A SLIM version of Shockwave, which is the version Adobe installs by default, contains a limited number of units of functionality called “Xtras”. If a Shockwave application requires any Xtras not included in the SLIM version the plug-in will simply download them from the Adobe servers. The FULL version on the other hand, contains a full complement of these "Xtras" which means the plug-in should never need to access the web for missing units.

You can still download this directly. Google the filename instead.

Not going to post links in case Adobe's Stasi are watching.

At least there were none from MS and Oracle.

I just noticed today there is no 64-bit version available. If you use a 64bit browser and try to download it, it will redirect you to a help page.

I don't think there ever has been.
