Edit: I just looked at the radar and their is a big line of thunder storms approaching Washington DC.

Hitting here now. Very rainy, no thunder I've heard, lights flickering... Traffic home is going to suck, shirley.
Just hope power stays on at home. While happy to have a generator, running cords and getting it fired up in the middle of a downpour kinda sucks...and think we've only a half-tank of gas...

No problems here in west Dupont...just some rain and a few gusts of wind.

We had quite a squall blow threw the Baileys Crossroads/Skyline area at about 3, and there was a torrential downpour is eastern Loudoun that timed itself perfectly to get the elementary school kids getting off the bus.

hype! Power flickered here at work briefly; reportedly not a flicker at our power-outage-prone home. Don't think I even heard any thunder.
Nice drenching but nothing 'severe' about it.
