I started using Mac again around Tiger, and I hated Safari. That browser has been improved greatly since then, but there's one thing that keeps me from trashing Chrome. An easy way to sort bookmarks. It's a basic feature that IE had since way back when. What's keeping Apple from including that simple but helpful feature?
I'll take a look at that. In the mean time, I found this page on Apple's website and submitted a request. I ask that anyone else who'd like to see that feature included submit the same request.
Just curious as I don't really use bookmarks.. what's wrong with the current way it sorts bookmarks? You have the Bookmarks Menu, the bar, and then the full list by clicking on the book icon. And all of them support folders.
Safarisort is just what the Dr ordered. It's not as elegant as having the feature built in the browser, but it work. Now I just need to find a suitable search engine to replace Google. I'm going to attempt to separate myself from Google. Shouldn't be too difficult since I only used their browser and search engine. I read that »duckduckgo.com is a good alternative.
