<description><![CDATA[peterweb posted : I believe I was the one that figured out that the Cogeco email forwarding only worked after you log into your Cogeco email page. So you can set your forwarding settings all you want, but it will never forward if you have not logged into Cogeco.<br><br>Not the way it should work.<br><br>As noted, I also use Gmail to pull my Cogeco emails. <description><![CDATA[Dingaan posted : I have 7 Cogeco email addresses that I use for different purposes. At one time, I had all of these being pulled into Gmail. Messages download schedule appeared to be based on amount of activity on each account. It is possible to force a download in Gmail. <br><br>I gave up on using just Gmail, because it had become desperately slow. Gmail provides no service, so I could not ever get anyone to check what was causing the slowdown. Cogeco webmail wasn't too great either, but to be honest, I haven't tried it for years.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[anon posted : Cogeco residential told me that rules will only work as long as you're logged into Webmail. I found that to be rather odd so I called Commercial support...<br><br>... a helpful gentleman advised me that the rule should work and I discovered that the system was bugged and adding a 0 to the fowarding address regardless of what I entered. The next line did not do that so I went with line #2 .<br><br>Unfortunately, the forward still isn't working and the representative advised me the rules are automatically deleted after 1 month so that won't work.<br><br>He did state there may be upgrades coming up so hopefully that will add this function, which other providers all support. ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[anon posted : I've set this up with other providers many times and I'm sure I'd seen this setup with Cogeco, but I was told by a Cogeco representative that you cannot configure your @cogeco.ca email address to auto-forward to another address (as well as arrive in your inbox).<br><br>I went through the mail filter and setup a rule matching obvious criteria but that doesn't work.<br><br>Does anyone have any suggestions? ]]></description>
