I am down also, all lights are green on my modem. Seems like the same issues as last week. |

There must be something going on in the Kitchener area. We received an influx of calls for that area. We are looking into it and will keep you all posted. |

Thanks for the update Jonathan. I'm curious what the word is...
I am still able to get through to my home network. |

It seems to be DHCP in Waterloo/Kitchener but not official yet. Still looking into it. |

No ETA as of yet, will post when I have something. |

Not down here(Highland/Fischer-Halman), but excessively slow.
We have both Rogers and Teksavvy cable, and the Roger's line is currently suffering 25-30% packet loss and the Tek line has none, but both are extremely slow.
Connecting to work VPN gets a few characters a second currently. Normally on either connection it is like being at the office (minus file transfers).
I am hoping that what ever the Roger's folks are up to it finishes and we can see if that was affecting the TSI line as well. |

Everything's working great here in downtown Kitchener. Not going to try renewing my DHCP lease though given what others are saying. |

Cable internet is back up now.
I went from 4/1 bonding to 8/1.
However, my upstream bonding went from 64 QAM to 16 QAM. |

Weird. |
Restarted my modem and I now have 8/3, with one channel greyed out. Weird.

This line was in modem log: Thu Sep 20 11:30:48 2012 Error (4) DHCP RENEW WARNING - Field invalid in response v4 option;CM-M... As far as I could tell service was not uninterrupted. |

said by TSI Jonathan:It seems to be DHCP in Waterloo/Kitchener but not official yet. Still looking into it. That was my experience as well - though on Sunday. Was unable to get an IP address (timeout on DHCP request). Modem DS/US was fine. It's as if the DHCP server was down/out of IP addresses/decided to ignore a particular modem MAC for a while (changing the router's MAC didn't help). Waiting an hour and performing a hard reset (with the reset button) seemed to fix it. Might just be that there were free IP addresses at the instant I reset, or might just be that the DHCP/Modem finally started talking nice again. DCM475: Software Version: STAC.02.08. 8x4 bonded. |

It's back up for me and a number of others. Have you tried power cycling your modem? |

Yeah, repeatedly... Mine was one of the last ones to come back during the previous outage too... I'll give it 'til morning then hit the direct forum. Thank goodness for having a backup connection (hurrah for working for an ISP that does DSL!) |

If it's a DCM475, try a factory reset (usually a paperclip on a reset button). Strangely that worked for me. |

Hello everyone,
I'm sorry I did not get the chance to reply yesterday but there wasn't a DHCP outage declared for that area even though it seemed to be DHCP. I just want to double check, is everyone connection back up and good to go?
Thank you |
