I was looking at the logs and was checking things out and I saw that there is a DHCP renew warning. Could this be related to IPV6?

I get those every 5 days like clockwork on my SB6141.
They don't effect my service in any way.
I read on another thread about Comcast and Motorola working on a firmware update for the T4 timeout problem, maybe it will take care of the DHCP warnings we are getting also.

No, your IPv4 address will renew periodically, more often than not you get the same IP you had before. I see these in my modem log too, doesn't cause a problem.

It's mainly a nuisance warning. It's the DHCP between the modem and Comcast, not your router/computer. Mine does that every 3.5 days. It is something that started with the latest firmware.

As was stated, this is on the DOCSIS / management side of the modem as has nothing to do with the Public IP of anything connected to the LAN side of it.
