I eventually got the deal in writing and everything, but now Verizon is saying I am not entitled to the gift card.
They say I opt'ed for a different promotion or something, even though I have emails stating otherwise.

| They told me I opt'ed for the $20 off a month which isn't true. I opt'ed for what was offered in the screen shot in the 1st post and even though the pricing listed was wrong they agreed to honor the complete deal.
They said they will have someone call me. I am not holding my breath and will continually hound them.
I was hoping to use the card to buy a sofa for my new apt, only piece of furniture missing as soon as I get the card. Ikea here I come!

I am getting the back and forth now, the rewards dept says they can see I had the 500 gift card but can't issue it because there can't be more than 1 promo at a time on my account. I have 2 promos because of the boo boo Verizon made with the offer. They said to fax over order conf email blah blah blah, I am also bitching on twitter.

Re: [Northeast] Verizon sent me my Gift Card Mine just came today, shipped by UPS 2nd day Air. I didn't even have to ask about it, it just showed up. My deal when I upgraded to the new tier was only 120.00USD, though. Good luck with getting yours, hope your issue gets straightened out soon. |

When did you upgrade? I upgraded around mid August and am still waiting for the $120 visa card |

| System error or no system error still entitled to the promo they agreed to honor, and that promo included a $500 gift card.
had I accepted the free promo for the dvr, would I have to call every month to get a credit?
