Snypes posted : You should contact our offices right away to confirm there is not line loss for the DSL. To restore it takes quite a few days and can be a pain. Any of our support technicians should be able to confirm if there is a loss of lineshare order in place on your account. If you like, you can PM me your login with Sonic.net and I can take a quick look for you.

Thank you for choosing Sonic.net!
--
DSL Support Specialist
Sonic.net, Inc.

leibold posted : Normally when a phone line is being disconnected the telco notifies the DSL provider which causes the DSL service to be canceled as well.

If you only spoke with AT&T then your DSL service most likely will not be restored. You have to contact Sonic.net (you may have to order new service which will take time).

If it was Sonic.net who told you that service will be restored today you should be fine.
--
Got some spare cpu cycles ?
