Google Maps and iOS 5 are still working on the iPhone 4S. Having played a bit with iOS 6 on an iPod Touch 4, I do not think I will be upgrading anything else right away. I do use the maps and StreetView quite a bit and this "downgrade" is just not worth it to me right now. Steve Jobs must be rolling in his grave over the ridicule Apple is getting for releasing a substandard product. -- I support the right to keep and arm bears.
I agree. This kind of half baked deployment is something I'd expect out of Microsoft, not Apple. IMHO, Apple products may not always have 'all the goods' that its competitors do, but what they have typically has been very well polished/integrated. Apple Maps are even worse than MS Bing maps. The change of the guard in Apple is starting to finally show.
