[Cable] Any updates on Cogeco?

Start Communications has announced new cable packages for Cogeco and Rogers areas. I am in a Cogeco area and I am wondering if there is anything going on between TSI and Cogeco.

I love TSI and would love to stay with them, but getting a 30/2 profile for pretty much the same price as I pay now for a 7/512 profile is pretty motivational for me to switch.

Is there anything in the works with Cogeco?

The problem with teksavvy , its they are all in canada, if they make a ''partnership'' with cogeco , it would need to work in ontario and in quebec.

Start is only in ontario, not in all the canada, thats why they can make some partnership with rogers/cogeco , but its only for ontario.

What are you talking about? It doesn't NEED to be Ontario and Quebec. Stop posting wrong info.

Marc, any update on the footprint question?

Also is that date still looking reasonable?

Thanks,
Pete

Hi Marc,

When people refers to entire footprint above, they meant in both provinces ..

So, are you going to offer the service in Cogeco territories in Ontario and Quebec?

Just to be sure

Despite living in a Cogeco area, why am I thinking "uh-oh..." instead of "yay!" ? The bumps of various TSI expansions in the past comes to mind...

That's a good question, why are you thinking that? We haven't expanded into much in some time now.. Last area was TekTalk.

Any chance it will have an unlimited option I'd ask if the caps would be bigger then Cogeco's but I don't think caps could get SMALLER then cogecos.

I'm just concerned that the rest of the service will suffer from a another rapid expansion. By the way, why was *this* September so much harder on tech support (ie wait times) than any other September?
