Facebook's Generation Y nightmareThis will pop your mind. quote: Taos, New Mexico, autumn 2012. At 18, Tina Porter has been on Facebook for four years. Duly briefed by her parents, a teacher and a therapist, she takes great care not to put contents remarks on her wall, photos, videos that could expose her in a unwanted manner.
Still. Spending about 30 hours a month on the social network, she has become as transparent as a looking glass. It will impact the cost of her health insurance, her ability to get a loan and to find a job.
Read on at » www.guardian.co.uk/techn ··· P=twt_fdWorth the consideration for sure. I've been profiled and it was pretty funny but also rather scary how much they knew about me that I hadn't even thought about. Blake |

In addition, each time, for a period of several days, we see a slight drop in the number of words she uses in her posts, her vocabulary shrinks a bit, and her tweets, usually sharp, become less frequent and more nebulous. That's an obvious pattern for people suffering from serious migraine." .......Our Predictive Workforce Expenditure Model shows that she will cost you at least 15% more in lost productivity. Not to mention the patterns in her Facebook entries suggesting a 75% chance for her to become pregnant in the next 18 months, again according to our models." So they could easily turn their gauze to this forum and combine content that would effect us. |

I'm gathering it is too late to think of what might happen. But then, that is why you do not post via your real name even though behind the scenes some may know it here. Those that do use their name and own a business are very careful of what they post because of this factor.
Facebook people are quite happy to post real names, dump all photos on it, add phone or address details etc, and not think any more on it. |
