[Speed] What is the highest speed you can get?

What is the highest speed package you can get with SL, and what is the price?

Right now, the highest we can get in my area, is 50/3. As to the price, I am not sure. I am paying $80, a few people have said $90, and I remember it being $100.

So how about everyone else.

Please be sure to include your area if it's not part of your site icon info.

My area is Greenville/Winterville NC.

Thanks.

107/5 in the area, depends on the head-end I believe. Unsure of the price.

We have 50/8 fiber at the office for $449/mo ($549/mo for us to avoid build-out costs)

I have 20/2 at the house for $55. I bond to the neighbor's 20/2 via wifi bridge, then broadcast wifi back to his house, for the both of us to share the 40/4 bonded connection.

the 107/5 is $107/month here...it is fast, but I wish the upload was better.

At least you got the 5. We are stuck with 3 here on the 50/3.

I think SL is pretty far behind when it comes to having more than 1 channel for upstream in their nodes.

Looking over at the Comcast forum will make you cry, as far as the technology they have in place. 8 channels down and 4 up.

WTF, I have the same thing as you, minus the DVR (just a regular HD box) and I'm paying 20 bux more a month. And was also told that my price is a promotional and it will go up in a few months.

Just because you have a bajillion channels for up and down doesn't mean you have enough bandwidth to the node to actually use it, lol. I seriously wonder how much of SL footprint could handle something like that right now.

Heard rumors that there is only 1 SL test bed currently for bonded upstream.

10/1 here in Sedona, AZ. It was 20/1 until Suddenlink took over almost a year ago. The price stayed the same ($59.99) but the speed is now 1/2 what it used to be.

I think they really have completely different pricing depending on your market. And when I was considering switching to them, 3 different times I got price quotes they were different. When they finally offered my current option I couldn't help but take it. I had Dish and 6mb att dsl. I have more channels with the cable here, and way faster internet for less than I was paying. And I've had it for almost 2 years now without a price increase.

It's not a rumor, Lubbock has multiple upstreams (2 64QAM, 1 16QAM) but they are not bonded. No need for it yet since no competition is there.

Oh they absolutely have different pricing. I get 8/.5 for $55 here in the back of beyond. There is no competition and not likely to be any day soon.

Just got the new pricing list today for Bossier area

3 megs - 40
15 megs - 60
30 megs - 84
50 megs - 110
107 megs - 120

Would be amazing if I could get the price on 30 megs you guys are getting :/ Though when this promotional price is over I'm def. going to downgrade unless they offer me at least the same price again.

Then there's the $10 modem fee / month. Can't forget the ridiculous 16/month for dvr either...
