| How is ATT so fast?? I performed a speed test at the Tools page today, and then looked at results of others. The whole 1st page of results is of company SBC/AT&T, which is my ISP also. The range of speed-test results on that page is 40.3M down to 11.0M. My question is: HOW DOES ANYONE GET 40 M WITH AT&T? WHAT SERVICE IS THAT? That cannot be a "normal" residential service. |

U-verse is only rated to 24mb download speeds. It is capable of faster speeds, but nobody on the face of the planet earth is paying for any tier above 24mb download, 3mb upload, because it doesn't exist.
It is just slightly possible that somebody testing a higher speed tier (which has been rumored) did so through this site, and is on some kind of trial for the higher speed tier (the rumor was that it was 50mb service, but I don't know if that's true). |

they use internet throughput, I have 3 meg down, when i check with att.com/speedtest, speed sometimes jump to 10 meg. Use speedtest.net for more accurate result. |
