Like the color scheme. But searching by keyword is needed to make information easier to find. Guide Filtering in the Time Grid is good, but the filters should be expanded to the search screens as well.

Overall, I would rank the new guide a C+. Add keyword search and the ability to filter the searches like in the Time Grid and the guide goes to a B. Add keyword search, guide filtering to search screens, and a true HD Interface, it would probably get an A from me.

If you get a lot not liking it, do what Dish did in the old days (I left them way back when they dropped west coast locals).. Dish had a color choice menu in the settings.

I always chose Varsity Blue.. Gray and Dark Blue. But I like this darker color better.. Reminds me of Win7's dark colorset--which I use.

Why did Brighthouse take something that worked fine and change it? Harder to read (especially with older eyes) and just plain BUTT UGLY.

Even better, why are you asking for demographics and ratings? Didn't Brighthouse marketing do up front market analysis and surveys (focus groups) before the change was implemented?

When will we ALL get a DEFINITIVE answer if and when it will be changed back?

Did I say I (and my wife) BOTH hate it!!!!!!

I can see the guide fine up close from the bedroom TV but when I watch in the living room the TV is much farther away so the font blurs with this new lack of color theme. Putting on my glasses clears it up so I can read it. That's easier than moving the couch closer to the TV so I can read the guide LOL.

Don't like it. For me it's hard to read unless I put my glasses on. I didn't have to with the older guide. I think the new bland color theme would be easier to read if they gave the option for full screen view, like the TIVO and Dish guides. That would increase the font size a bit and make it easier to read.

My suggestion is for the BH developers to look at the great guide TIVO and Dish has and mirror something similar. I was actually surprised they released the new guide like this as it doesn't appear they put a lot of thought into it. Disappointing.

Everything else about BH I love. Good customer service, good DVR equipment, great selection of HD channels and high quality dependable internet at a fair price. The programming guide is their weakest link.

I searched for guide or "theme" color changes in setup for quite a while before realizing that there was only one-size-fits-all.
The response of my digital box is sluggish now I can count off "one-thousand" after pressing buttons before the unit responds. (haven't restarted it yet, tho')

In these economic times I am not upgrading my TV to higher resolution or change my cabinets to be able to hold a larger one any time soon, so this just pushes me another step closer to searching for an alternative provider that I can see.
(I would only miss central florida news 13) Yes my eyes aren't as sharp, but the difference here is night and day.
