| Video on WWOR (Channel 9) is all stretched out in VHO7 Since Sunday night, September 23, channel 9, the SD version of WWOR in the VHO7 region has a stretched out video image. Channel 509, the HD version of WWOR is okay but since most of my TVs in my home are SD TVs except one HDTV set, it's weird watching a warped image since Sunday night. Before the mess up in video, WWOR was shown letterboxed widescreen on SD TVs on channel 9 in the VHO7 region. I'm not sure if Verizon is to blame for the error or WWOR but the problem hasn't been corrected yet as of this post. |

kudos:6 | Here's WWOR on VHO5 (NYC). Image looks fine, so either it's VHO7 or your equipment.
Oops. Just noticed you said SD version. Yes, it is definitely stretched improperly here in VHO5 as well, so it seems like it may be a WWOR problem.

Franklin Square, NY | That happened with channel 7 about two years ago and it was Verizon's fault, they corrected it pretty quick after I contacted someone who I knew worked at Verizon, but he's gone now. |

The Yankees game is being shown 4:3 letterboxed on Ch9 on VHO7.
OTA on 9.2 WWOR-TV the game is full screen.
The show on Ch9 now is 16:9 squished to 4:3.
On 9.2 it's 4:3 full screen. |
