Re: [MoP] How was it?

takes very little time. Fly out to halfhill, plant seeds, remove any pests from the plant, then fly away to return the next day.

IDK if the watering can do anything at all for the plants, there's no reaction when I pour it on them... LOL (just really funny because from your angle it looks like your peeing on them)

This is generally the sort of thing casuals get into. Log on for 10min or so, knock out a few dailies, chat up the guild, log off. Raiders tend to only log on for raid nights, then go MIA for the week, or just play the AH for mats/raid prep.

It's not the only way to get food. There's the good-ol' kill stuff for drops or go fishing routes still.

whew. i'm saying i like the old way now but that's only because i haven't tried farmville yet.

i might end up thinking running a homestead might an easier route than fishing crap from pools...who knows.

does it require "every day" maintenance?

I don't think so. The crop is ready to pick the next day (so saith the NPC beside it). It would be interesting to see if you forget to come back to it that it rots, lol. I mean... that would be terrible.

I read somewhere that you dont have to comeback the next day. Also as you continue to farm you get more slots. Up to 16 slots and each slot can produce 5+ stuff.

Tip: Grown crops do not need to be harvested immediately: Unharvested crops remain in their grown state, even after several days.

I liked it. I was online as the clock hit midnight and everyone was pilled in ogrimmar waiting.

It was laggy at first, the initial quest area was pretty crazy but doable, once I learned to hurricane the spawn points har har.

I am taking my time leveling up my main. Reading the quest text, exploring, ganking alliance every time I see them.

Over all it's the best expansion leveling experience I have had so far. After 3-4 2 hour sessions I am now halfway through lvl 87

I like how big the zones feel, and how long the story lines in them are.

Finally, after what seemed like forever, I hit 90 last night on my Mage.

85, 86, 87 went pretty quick...88 took about 7 hours, and 89 took about 9....I spent some time crafting during both of the last two levels, and yesterday I ran Coren Direbrew ~20 times while I was questing, and I didn't even SEE a caster DPS trinket.

Hopefully our guild engi's will get a few of these out for us in preparation of tomorrow.

I know +600 hit/haste/mastery would be awesome.

I still want that 600+ crit and the 5k spell power proc though

My engineer is still on Cata levels been worried more about getting to 90 instead of professions other than mining as soon as I hit 90 I will get to level it.

Yeah same here. My engineer is my Priest, which I likely won't be playing at the start of this expansion.

Nathrezim's economy is pretty much the opposite as my old server's as well, making it a little difficult for me to level Tailoring and quest to 90 at the same time. Leveling materials are hard to come by in the AH, especially when I need 70 stacks of Frostweave to level through Wrath patterns...Now that I'm at cap, I should be able to farm quite a bit here in the future, but buying out the AH and still being 60-70% short is pretty frustrating.

Totally agreed with you, It has taken me some time to adjust of not being able to just go in and buy what I need.

Oh the other hand, it is nice to see materials not priced outrageously.

The materials that I was able to buy from the AH was super cheap. I've leveled Tailoring from 1-375 for less than 1,000g. And I'm probably looking at spending ~2,000 in total as opposed to 12-15k on Kil'Jaeden.

as time progresses, I think you'll find most of what you need from guildies. When we aren't power-grinding our raiding toons, we have several alt-o-holics who will dump lvling mats into the gbank. Always check there first before going to the AH.
