Sucks when you phase past a part that you needed to finish for a quest. Strongarm Tactics to be exact.

If you are melee, have fun trying to down the parachuting alliance guys.

Seeing General Chat 6 times for every chat is pretty annoying.

So I guess they haven't fixed the CRZ chat stuff yet. The duplicates are probably due to the in-realm instancing that they supposedly implemented.

Sun, you on a very busy server? Last night, my server only had 2 lines per message.

Our low pop server fluctuated from 4 lines up to 6 at times. The guild roster didn't always work, and one of my officers (who only runs with skada as an addon) couldn't open the gbank.

despite all of that, it was still a very successful launch.

played on main during lunch, reported to SW keep, then onto the flying boat.
Quest for the gyro chopter is screwed. When you get to part where you have to sink the boats there are so many doing this that all you can see is the upclose fellow chopters...had to jump out of gyro twice where you get insta ported back to flying boat so you can try again.....nonsence. They should give you control of the gyro or phase the quest, bad planning on Blizz's part.

That is unfortunate. By yourself the ships take several shots... on my last boat, I had 2 others with me, so it sunk rather quickly.

There are some clever quest mechanics though... I love the SI:7 quests you'll see later on. They are of the "punched Deathwing in the face" variety, only with a slightly more serious storyline.

speaking of which... need to get a lore thread going....

well...considering that i get home and have the first chance to get on WoW...i now have a 40 minute queue just to fracking login...WTF Blizzard!

I gave up on my plan to try an get realm first monk, which took a lot of the pressure off and meant I could roll a Panda.

For the first time of any expansion I did the "all nighter" thing. I finally logged out this afternoon with my Panda Monk at 1/3rd the way through lvl 86.

I must say, a lot of the MoP zone quests can be tedious when solo, at least in the Jade forrest. The zone is beautiful though.

Are the quest similar to Cata?, where they are phased chains.

Thinkin about coming back. Havent touched the game since July.

To all my warrior brothers out there, how are they feeling this xpac?

Yeah they are phased chains. And Warrior feels nice, I'll be back on mine for sure this expac.

I'm glad I got my fill last night, I tried to log on just now and was #1890 in queue. I think I'd rather go to sleep, I'm old.

Damn this expansion sucks.

Midnight release went smoothly. Gamestop was pretty lively with all the other people picking up FIFA.

edit: Was surprised when they flagged the servers 7 minutes before midnight pst.

Checking in late…

I’ll admit….I’m probably one of the biggest fan boys of WoW and haven’t wavered from the game in years. I know I’m not alone in this, and I’ve honestly felt taken advantage of as a player for the last couple of years. In short, I felt really shortchanged by Blizzard.

I didn’t play Mists in beta and wanted to experience everything new when it released.

I have to say, other than the first two quests, which were impossible to complete and should have been phased, Blizzard really knocked it out of the park thus far. I took my mage through the Jade Forest and most of the Valley of the 4 Winds yesterday, and did the complete Pandaren starting area.

I haven’t had this type of enjoyment in the game for a while. Maybe it’s because I too played a lot of Harvest Moon and really enjoy it, maybe it’s because I read every James Clavell book on the planet, but whatever it is, Mists of Pandaria has really wowed me thus far and made me smile for the first time playing in quite some time.

First legit 90 was about 3:30pm.

I think about 4 people got banned on my server for exploiting an infinitely respawning mob to hit 90 super quick.

I had a blast last night. I got my Monk up to 25 in about four hours. I was happy with that for a start. Not sure why, but I am loving this expac thus far.

That or farming some stupid crab... I have a former guildie in Supermassive that was the US first DK made 90 in 6 hours after release.. he isn't banned so i dunno..

Just a little update... SO MUCH GOLD.. I knew I'd make easy gold, but I jsut let my hunter on the second account sit AFk in a spot that had several mines.. They were respawning nearly instantly.. Kind of nice to cash in on the early xpack profession rusah people are in. Too bad the professions asemm ridiculously easy to level.. not to sure how long the prices will last.

I think people got to 90 quickly because they saw how the world's first did it.. endless killing of a single elite that gives 110K+ XP (compared to the regular mobs that give about 10K)

Even a guildie admitted he did camp a mob for a couple of hours, he's 90 now, took him like 13 hours, when I logged the last realm first popped, a DK, that's even later than first Monk.. LOL
